  4. Polyominoes is a very interesting strategy game in which you try to put the last piece on the board.  The pieces can be flipped or rotated in any manner.  Version 2.3 provides 9 different boards of varying sizes.  It’s you against the computer (or you against another person).

  6. The boards also double as very challenging solitaire puzzles.

  8. Polyominoes is ShareWare, $5.00 registration fee.  Run the program for details.  It should work on any Mac with any system.  However, if you are running a system 4.1 or earlier, you should probably turn the sound feature off, as that may cause problems.

  10. Changes since version 2.0:
  11.     •    can play game on ANY board (rather than just regular 8x8)
  12.     •    may be a bit faster due to THINK C’s code optimizer
  13.     •    more sounds
  14.     •    shortcuts for rotation/flipping
  15.     •    fixes a few minor bugs
  16.     •    lots more fun!
